Só Pra Ver - Lyric Video

When my friend and creative partner,  João Lauro, first proposed this lyric video project, the creative challenge was as thrilling as it was daunting. How could we sustain visual intrigue across four minutes of pure motion graphics without a single frame of live action? Our solution: deconstruct the song into distinct lyrical sections, each with its own self-contained visual identity, ensuring seamless transitions, and a cohesive narrative flow.

As the motion designer, I knew organisation would be key. To avoid timeline chaos, I meticulously isolated each completed section into its own precomp, a decision that proved invaluable as the project grew into what, five years on, is still our most complex lyric video. With countless synchronised moving elements on screen, this approach not only saved my sanity but also allowed us to push creative boundaries without sacrificing precision.
