Warner Bros. Holiday Hacks
When Warner Bros. asked for a holiday merchandise push that cut through the seasonal cheesiness, we delivered ironic survival guides for the most intense time of year.
Leaning into WB’s signature snark, we weaponised sound design (crunching wrapping paper, exploding ornaments, broken decoration) and deployed surgical VFX to sell the joke, like a perfectly timed camera shake or particular-generated sparks. Because nothing says Holiday cheer like a healthy dose of brand-approved banter.
(Key contributions: Video Editing, Audio storytelling and VFX as comedic support for brand-safe mischief)
Holidays, Beetlejuice like
After the Beetlejuice success, this was our second attempt at shooting original content with a plan to post it as a limited series on the brand pages. Needless to say it became a company-wide framework for such campaigns
That banter pace
The challenge with this series was giving the edits character whilst keeping the Christmas spirit. One of the key elements to that was ensuring all edits followed an appropriate pace which could help delivering the joke whilst having a Christmas song as the soundtrack.
